Marissa has been part of the METTS Dance Family since it opened. Marissa started dancing at the age of 2. She took tap, jazz ballet, lyrical.
Marissa not only performed in community events but also danced in area competitions.
In addition to being a dance teacher, Marissa is a Community Wellness Specialist for Spectrum Health and Human Services. Marissa enjoys working with youth and families during the day with her bachelor’s degree in early childhood development.
Marissa states that she “loves to teach the new Mini METTS every year”. Marissa reports that her “favorite thing about teaching dance to our Mini METTS is; getting to know the dancers every week, seeing their growth throughout the year and helping them master technique by trying things in different ways.”
