Kaylan has been dancing since she was 6 years old in her hometown of Port Jefferson Station, NY.
Kaylan instantly fell in love with Creative Movement and continued her dance training through college.
Kaylan holds a bachelor’s degree in childhood/special education with a concentration in dance from SUNY Geneseo.
While at SUNY Geneseo, Kaylan performed and choreographed for the Geneseo Dance Ensemble, Geneseo’s Pre-professional Company. Kaylan also performed and choreographed for multiple dance clubs including Orchesis, Saphire Winter Guard at Geneseo and GajjdaBhangra.
Kaylan also found a passion for working with students while at Geneseo and later obtained her master’s degree in School Counseling from SUNY at Buffalo.Kaylan has been a dance teacher for more than 5 years. Kaylan is excited to continue to share her joy and passion for dance with her students each year.
