Eleanor “Ella” Fish is a dancer, choreographer, and recent graduate with a BFA in Dance and a minor in Dance Studio Administration from SUNY Fredonia. She began dancing at the age of 3 and grew up as a competitive dancer where she performed in many recitals and competitions. She has studied styles such as contemporary, jazz, improv, modern, musical theatre, street styles, ballet, and tap. Her favorite styles are contemporary and jazz. Aside from movement classes she also learned topics such as dance history, pedagogy, and kinesiology that have helped with her teaching. She has taught many different styles of dances and has choreographed for group dances as well as solos and duets. Her favorite styles to teach are jazz and contemporary and she has even received awards for her works in these styles. She loves to make a safe and welcoming environment for all dancers in her class to thrive and be confident, not only in dance, but in life.
